Classroom Management
A research based classroom management system which has effectively reduced negative behaviors with students in and out of all educational settings will be presented. In addition, this model of classroom management promotes self-directed learning to occur. Columbia Behavioral Services believes that it is essential for students to take accountability for their behavior.
Assessment
Students learn by educational practices adhering to learning styles and teaching strategies. In order for self-directed learning to occur, students must be assessed in these areas. Specially designed assessments are utilized to bring forth self-directed learning.
Curriculum
Teaching lessons and/or units is not enough for our students to gain the essential learning's they need to be successful at school. By planning, implementing differentiated classroom instruction and assessment students will leave with the knowledge essential for life long learning.
